Traveller's paradise: Thailand

Thailand, known for it's tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha, is a metonym for paradise... I recently visited Thailand for Christmas, it's tropical beauty was just half the experience. For this vacation, I had a very impromptu, where the wind takes me kind of plan. However, I wanted a beach holiday so I was mainly targeting the best beaches. First Krabi, then to Phi-Phi and lastly to Phuket... To start with the resort I was staying in Krabi was one of the best ones in the world. It was called Rayavadee and had 3 beaches surrounding it! My family and I stayed in a villa for merely 4 days, irrespectively, only an infinite number of days could suffice it's beauty.

It was absolutely spectacular. I spent days sleeping, eating, swimming, sleeping, snorkeling: l-i-v-i-n-g... Every single day. The breeze... The delicacies... The azul water... The sunsets and sunrises... Every single thing was absolutely serene and rejuvenating! Phi phi was magical. That's exactly what I'd describe it as. It's beautiful beaches, many a colourful fish, all the speedboat rides... Magical. Magical. Magical. I went snorkelling there and saw a kaleidoscope of fishes and vibrant corals. The breathtaking view compelled my senses to feel this sense of joy and happiness of living: absolute biophilia. It was absolutely spectacular.

Honestly, as my trip came to an end, I realised that my love for this place had just begun... Yes, Thailand was a dream of beauty, wonder and perfection; not just a dream: but reality.
